Overview
Copper/Metal Water Stop Seal from Maruti Techno Rubber Pvt. Ltd. is a high-performance solution for critical construction joints, ensuring waterproofing and structural integrity under extreme conditions. Made from copper alloys or metal composites, these seals withstand high hydrostatic pressure, chemical exposure, and harsh environments.
Copper, valued for its ductility and durability, is the most common choice. Available in 1.5 mm or 1.8 mm thickness, as per IS:191 Grade II Phosphorous De-oxidized Copper (non-arsenical), these water stops are widely used in dams, water treatment plants, and high-rise buildings for maximum strength, corrosion resistance, and long-term performance.
Fabrication
The integrity of the water stop system depends on proper fabricated water stop splices to achieve a complete fluid tight system. All directional changes and intersections shall be minor cut and spliced by TIG or MIG welding to maintain continuity of the outside flanges.
