Maruti PVC Water Stop Seals are high-performance joint sealing systems designed to prevent the passage of water through construction joints in concrete structures. Manufactured from premium-grade virgin Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) and produced under strict quality control standards, these waterstops provide a highly reliable and durable barrier against water leakage.

Concrete structures such as basements, tunnels, water tanks, and retaining walls typically contain construction joints where two concrete pours meet. These joints can become vulnerable points for water infiltration if not properly sealed. How do PVC Water Stop Seals Work?

PVC Water Stop Seals function as a physical barrier embedded within concrete joints.

When installed during the concreting process:

  1. Half of the waterstop profile is embedded in the first concrete pour.
  2. The remaining portion is embedded in the subsequent concrete pour.
  3. Once the concrete cures, the waterstop becomes an integral part of the joint.

The ribbed or bulb-shaped profile creates multiple barriers that prevent water from passing through the joint. Even when exposed to hydrostatic pressure, the design forces water to follow a longer path, significantly reducing the possibility of leakage.
