Hydrophilic Swell Bar

Hydrophilic Swell Bar from Maruti Techno Rubber Pvt. Ltd. is a high-performance waterstop for construction and expansion joints in concrete structures. Made from hydrophilic polymers, it expands 300–700% on contact with water, sealing micro-voids and forming a watertight barrier that adapts to structural movement. Its ability to swell under varying moisture conditions ensures long-term, flexible protection against leakage, even under high hydrostatic pressure.

Concrete construction joints can show fine cracks or cavities during the natural curing process. This could cause water to infiltrate into the concrete. In contact with water, Maruti Hydrophilic Swell Bar will swell up to 300% to 700% depending on requirements and design considerations of its initial volume and make the construction water proof and also cavities and fine are efficiently scaled.
