Challenges

The Delhi–Meerut Expressway project faced challenges such as weak and inconsistent soil conditions in several sections, which jeopardized pavement stability and increased the risk of rutting under heavy traffic. The need for rapid construction in the congested NCR area added pressure, while differential settlement and potential erosion during the early stages posed risks to long-term performance.

Our Solutions

Geogrid provided an efficient ground-reinforcement solution by improving subgrade strength, enhancing load-bearing capacity, and ensuring uniform stress distribution even under heavy and continuous traffic movement. Its superior interlocking ability minimised settlement, accelerated construction by reducing aggregate layers, and stabilised vulnerable sections to prevent erosion.
