The system consists of high-modulus reinforcement strips manufactured using high-tenacity polyester (PET) yarn tendons embedded within a durable polymer matrix and encapsulated within a protective polymer sheath, typically polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP). This composite structure provides exceptional tensile strength, long-term durability, and resistance to environmental degradation.
The polyester reinforcement core provides the primary tensile strength, while the surrounding polymer sheath protects the reinforcement from mechanical damage, moisture ingress, ultraviolet exposure, chemical attack, and biological degradation.
