Maruti Rubber Group of Industries successfully supplied high-grade 31 MM Rubber Air Hose Pipes designed to withstand 10 KG of operating pressure for the prestigious Petronet LNG Project located in Dahej, Gujarat. Commissioned by Mahathi Infra and managed by Gupta and Associates, this strategic supply contract highlights Maruti’s capability to deliver high-performance industrial rubber products tailored to the stringent safety and operational standards required in the liquefied natural gas (LNG) sector.

Challenges

The Petronet LNG terminal is located in Dahej, a coastal region in Gujarat. Marine environments expose equipment to highly corrosive saline air and intense UV radiation, which accelerates the degradation and cracking of standard rubber hoses. Operating in an LNG facility demands absolute zero-failure reliability. The hoses needed to consistently maintain a 10 KG working pressure for pneumatic controls and air supply utility lines without risk of bursting, pressure drops, or dilation.

Working with top-tier stakeholders like Gupta and Associates and Mahathi Infra meant the products had to meet strict international quality and dimensions metrics, with zero tolerance for structural or dimensional variation.

Solution

Maruti manufactured the air hose pipes using a premium, UV-resistant, and weather-resistant synthetic rubber compound. This specialized formulation prevents ozone cracking and atmospheric aging, ensuring a significantly longer service life in harsh marine conditions. We engineered the 31 MM hoses with a high-tensile, multi-layered synthetic textile reinforcement core. Every batch underwent rigorous hydrostatic and burst pressure testing in our facility to guarantee a safety factor well exceeding the 10 KG operational benchmark.

Utilizing advanced extrusion technology, Maruti maintained uniform wall thickness and exact 31 MM inner diameter dimensions. Comprehensive quality documentation, certificates of compliance, and batch test reports were delivered seamlessly alongside the supply to fulfill project auditing requirements.
