Haryana-Rajasthan:
It is a specific construction package involving works like electrification, signalling, and telecommunication for a section of the WDFC, with a focus on the
"Rohilla – Madar" section. This package includes the construction of tunnels, bridges, and the main track, along with major civil engineering and electrical work like a 2x25 kV high-rise overhead electrification system.
Delhi-Mumbai:
It refers specifically to the Makarpura-Sachin segment of the Western DFC. This 135-kilometer (km) package is part of the larger Western Dedicated Freight Corridor that connects the Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JNPT) near Mumbai to Dadri, near Delhi. It is a part of the Western DFC, which is designed to carry high-volume freight, especially container traffic, between the ports of Mumbai and Gujarat and northern India.
Challenges
The Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFCC CTP 13) project, covering the Haryana–Rajasthan section of the Delhi–Mumbai freight corridor, involved constructing tunnels, bridges, and high-rise electrification systems to handle heavy container traffic. The bridges required expansion joints capable of accommodating thermal movement, heavy dynamic loads, and long-term structural stresses while ensuring minimal maintenance and uninterrupted freight operations along this high-volume corridor.Our Solutions
